to twenty minutes away, so we decided that every day we
would go to another island and explore, which we did,
but once we saw Capri, we were hooked and moved out
of our hotel on Amalfi and spent five days in Capri.
The Grand Hotel Quisisana was the four-star Hotel
we chose to stay at and that began the most beautiful,
exciting five days of our three-week vacation in Italy.
Capri is multifaceted. Above Capri is Anacapri, which
you get to by taking a train that climbs up the side of the
mountain and gives you a spectacular view. (More about
Anacapri later)
Our hotel was exquisite; crystal chandeliers, marble
floors, white draperies everywhere, lots of glass and a lot
of open areas to the pool, tennis courts, outdoor dining
or just strolling the magnificent grounds made me feel
like I wanted to stay forever.
The jewelry shops were unlike anything we had ever
