Sunday Fun Day
At Chabad of Palm Beach
Gardens, Jewish education and
heritage do not go on break during
the summer months. A week
after Hebrew school graduation
ceremony, they launched the first

These Sundays focus on
bringing fun and meaningful
Jewish education and mega

Jewish families of Palm Beach
Gardens during the summer

Hurricane Kits
for Seniors
Florida Power & Light Company and Meals on Wheels
Palm Beaches recently distributed hurricane meal kits to
400 seniors across Palm Beach County to assist vulnerable
seniors who may not be able to leave their homes or receive
home-delivered meals in the event of a storm. With 2023
storm season under way, these hurricane kits help ensure
that local seniors are equipped with vital supplies, including
three days of shelf-stable, nutritious food, water, and snacks.
Each week has a different theme such as Torah and
trampolines, with interactive Jewish educational activities
of the day. They’ve enjoyed mezuzah and mini-golf day;
aquarium, science, and shofar day; and sukkot ice skating day.
After praying, practicing their Hebrew letters, and
enjoying breakfast, the kids
are transported to the outing
of the week. After lunch
there are interactive Jewish
workshops where they learn
about their Jewish heritage in
a fun, memorable way.
