On Feb. 25, the place to

Park for the Second Annual
Jensen Beach Garden Expo.
It was a fun and educational
Joyce Court and Marge Hohman plant and garden fair hosted by the Jensen Beach
Garden Club (JBGC). Visitors stepped into an
explosion of color and wonder. Strolling through
heavenly-smelling orchids, colorful crotons, exotic
gingers, fragrant herbs, and butterfly-attracting
plants, folks discovered delicious honey, whimsical
garden accessories, and practical garden implements.
Demonstrations occurred throughout the day on
vegetable gardening, how to pot orchids, native plants,
and fruit trees, and protecting the landscape from pests.
This year the Garden Expo proceeds have
supported House of Hope, children’s camperships at
the Environmental Studies Center, and at the Florida
Oceanographic Society. Thank you to the thousands
