support House of Hope’s Community and Education
The Second Annual Jensen Gardens. Last year, the Jensen Beach Garden Club

Native Floridian Peggy Macdonald, Ph.D., is a
public historian and adjunct professor who has taught
at Stetson University, Indian River State College and
Southern New Hampshire University. She has written
about local and Florida history for FORUM magazine,
Gainesville Magazine, Our Town Magazine and Senior
Times. In 2014, the University Press of Florida published

Environment. Macdonald received her Ph.D. in American
history from the University of Florida.
Free and open to the public, the meeting will be at the
Blake Library, 2351 S.E. Monterey Road in Stuart, from
