Yes, that’s what I crave and yearn for. Another fancy box with
a ribbon that’s going to trim your budget? No. I want happiness
coming my way and just knowing you’re thinking and caring
about me would be the best gift of all.
The last time I got a gift in the mail I opened it with great
expectation and got another who the heck needs this with a
ribbon around it. The only one who is joyful at this time of
year is the shopkeeper who moved this useless item out of
his store. The day after this gift giving holiday the malls are
loaded with people who are eager to return this unwanted, I
had to buy something or my name would be mud gift. For my
part you could save your money or give a donation to feed the
hungry in my name. I just want a few more calls and hopefully
lots of good news.
And now I want
to offer good news to
my friends, my family
and my readers. We
live in America, so
that’s good news, we
live in beautiful Florida, so that’s more good news, and yes,
I’m still hearing you after I say “What” once or twice, and I’m
getting around even though my cane is now part of my wardrobe,
so that’s all-good news and I just got a gift in the mail and I
can’t wait to open it. I wonder what’s in it? I hope it’s more
good news. Happy holidays!
