Temple Israel Hosts
Two Inspiring Simply
Jewish Events
Temple Israel presents
two events in its Simply
Jewish series, which brings
culture, humor, and the
culinary arts to celebrate
Jewish heritage and
community.
Spend a special evening
with James Beard Award-
winning Chef Zach Engel,
who will lead participants
on a gastronomic journey
through Middle Eastern
cuisine. He will offer
personal reflections and Zach Engel
provide larger insights on
the food pathways of the Jewish culinary diaspora
throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Don’t miss
this moment to trace the past, present, and future of a
shared culinary heritage, one bite at a time.
This engaging evening promises to be a feast for
both the mind and palate, celebrating the rich flavors
and stories that define Jewish cuisine across the globe.
Finding Our Foodways with Chef Zach Engel will be held
February 5, 5:30 p.m., at Temple Israel. For tickets, visit
