team’s success in the 2023/24 season. Captain Alexander
Barkov, Alternate Captains Aaron Ekblad and Matthew
Tkachuk, and star Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky also spoke
at the parade. Additionally, Broward County Administrator
Monica Cepero declared the day as “Florida Panthers Day.”
Despite the rain, thousands of Panthers fans gathered
along Fort Lauderdale’s A1A and Fort Lauderdale Beach
to celebrate the Florida Panthers’ greatest achievement in
franchise history: winning the Stanley Cup. This parade
started at Riomar Street and ended by S.E. 5th Street, where
crowds greeted the Florida Panthers and watched the team
celebrate their victory on stage.
