Heroes In Medicine Awards Luncheon

The Palm Beach County Medical Society (PBCMS) and and volunteers. Heroes in
Services held its 21st Annual Heroes in Medicine Awards Medicine is made possible by

The event raised $22,000 to help support PBCMS and Shannon Fox-Levine, M.D.,
Services programs, including Project Access, the Healthcare president of Palm Beach
Emergency Response Coalition (HERC), the Medical Reserve Pediatrics
Corps (MRC), Community Health Worker Care Coordination Bruce Rendina Professional
training through the PBCMSS Institute for Learning, the Hero
Physician Leadership Academy, Physician Wellness, and the Mahyar Nouri-Shirazi, DVM,
Opioid Task Force. Ph.D., professor at the Florida
Heroes in Medicine awards spotlight those individuals and Atlantic University Charles E.
organizations in Palm Beach County that provide outstanding Schmidt College of Medicine
service to meet the needs of people in local, national, and/ Community Hero Health Care Winner
or global communities. Nominees complete a rigorous Palm Beach State College
review process and are selected by community leaders (PBSC) Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine: Sara Burgoa,
