contributes to a chronic health condition, Tampa General
Hospital (TGH) Concierge Health offers a medically
supervised, safe and effective weight management
program available to Palm Beach and Treasure Coast
residents. Expires 6/15/24.
Individuals will work one-on-one with Dr. Laurie
Rothman, who is board certified in family medicine State Licensed & Insured

oriented weight management strategy that may or may
not include medication. Rothman has been practicing
medicine for nearly 25 years and has two decades of
experience caring for patients in Palm Beach County.
Rothman’s clinical focus is on preventative care,
wellness and metabolic health for adults and adolescents
age 12 and up. She pursued board certification in obesity
medicine after recognizing trends among her patients
with hypertension, heart disease, osteoarthritis and other
chronic conditions.
“I wanted to strengthen my training and knowledge
in prevention and nutrition,” said Rothman. “I started
integrating the concepts into my practice.”
For example, she will review a patient’s overall health
and consider factors such as family history. “We’re
looking at total health and well-being to find lifestyle
changes that are sustainable for the long term.”
The Weight Management Program is structured as a
membership with tiered pricing:
• $300/month for three months
• $280/month for six months
Membership includes:
• Two visits per month with a physician who is board
certified in obesity medicine
• Two visits per month with a registered nurse
• Weight loss strategy, counseling, nutrition support,
and psychological and social support
• Prescription medications, such as semaglutide and
tirzepatide, will be prescribed if appropriate, for an
additional cost
• Monthly body composition evaluation using a Tanita
scale
The use of medication, along with lifestyle
improvements in diet and exercise, results in weight loss
that reduces the risk of major coronary events, including
heart attacks and strokes, improves metabolic health and
manages blood glucose levels.
You do not need to be a member of TGH Concierge
Health to join the weight management program.
