Three Philanthropic Gifts Mark Levis

JCC’s ‘Elevating Our Future’ Campaign

On Jan. 7, Levis JCC leadership, staff and community
leaders gathered for the “Elevating Our Future” Ribbon
Cutting and Festivities. Capital Campaign Chairs Marisa
and Matthew Baker and Vice-Chairs Judi and Allan
Schuman welcomed nearly 100 guests to enjoy brunch
and acknowledge the success of the campaign and three
exceptional gifts made by truly remarkable donors.
With enthusiastic Levis JCC leadership and community
members gathered behind him, philanthropist Leon
Cooperman proudly cut a symbolic ribbon, marking the
beginning of an exciting new chapter in the Levis JCC’s
four-decade story.
When the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community
Center launched the “Elevating our Future” Capital
Campaign it was quietly working with dedicated leaders
and the support of the Jewish Federation of South Palm
Beach County. A carefully developed strategy resulted
in great success. To date, more than $9 million has been
raised from extraordinary donors who are committed to
