time spent with the patient; and some insurance companies
make it difficult to handle the patient’s paperwork. In some
areas, no internists or general practitioners are accepting
new patients. This may not be much of a problem for the
present generation who are already acclimated to less
personal connections, but to older generations it can be
and is traumatic.
