Jason Newsted & Friends
Concert Benefits Lighthouse Mary Beal, Kalika Osgood, and Nicole Newsted

ArtCenter

Last month, Jason Newsted & Friends performed
benefit concerts at Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta. The
performances were intimate evenings limited to 100 tickets Matt Riopelle, Christine Templeton, and Catherine Sorrentino
at $100 per ticket.
A six-time Grammy Award winner and Rock &
Roll Hall of Famer, Jason Newsted is famous for his
contributions to Metallica from 1986 to 2001. Beyond his
many musical achievements, he is a self-taught multimedia
artist. Jason has shown his work at Art New York, Art
Miami, Art Basel, and in duo exhibits with his wife, Nicole
Newsted, at Lighthouse ArtCenter. Nicole is a formally
educated artist whose paintings are in collections across
the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Together the Chris Scianni, Kalika Osgood, Jason Newsted, Carl Schmid,
couple showcased their art in the exhibition Like Mind at and Jesse Farnsworth
the ArtCenter.
Proceeds from the concert and a portion of the proceeds
from art sales went toward the ArtCenter’s mission to
