Mary’s Home Presents 11th Annual Fashion Show And Luncheon
By Jackie Holfelder
Returning after a year hiatus, Mary’s Home’s
Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon had the
ambiance of a family wedding as friends and
acquaintances joyfully saw each other for the
first time in months – or even years.
The sold-out event took place at Willoughby
Golf Club on March 15 and featured a silent
auction filled with unique and eclectic items,
a fashion show, coordinated by Lynda Hartley-
Urban, that had models sashaying through
the dining room in outstanding outfits and a
touching presentation by Mary’s Home resident
Nneka Towine sharing the role the residence Alean Timm, executive director of Mary’s Home;
has played in helping her prepare for the best Jan Lindsay, founder of Mary’s Home; and
possible life for herself and her baby girl. Ashleigh Waters, WPTV NewsChannel 5 anchor Sandy Wetmore, Laura Shepherd, Renee Gould, Marney McKee, Lynn Hayden and
and luncheon emcee Christine Mulrooney in vintage Dusenberg (a ride in it was part of the silent auction)
