       This year Martin County District 5 Commissioner Ed Ciampi                                                      President, Palm City Chamber of Commerce
       emceed a panel which included Florida State Representative                                                             Financial Advisor – Edward Jones
       Toby Overdorf and Florida Representative John Snyder. As
       always, the conversation is centered around the impacts from
       state legislation on our local economy and environmental
       issues. Martin County School Board Chair Jennifer Russell also had an opportunity to address
       those in attendance with an update on the Martin County School District and the upcoming
       vote on the milage to support education in Martin County.

           Over  two  days,  more  than  100  community  members  attended  the  highly
         anticipated tour of the new Stuart Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County building.
         The event showcased the club’s extensive offerings and provided a preview of the
         state-of-the-art facilities set to open in the fall of 2024.
           Attendees had the opportunity to explore the new indoor gymnasium, performing
         arts studio, commercial kitchen, and classroom spaces. They also learned about
         the club’s innovative programs, including three workforce labs designed to equip
         youth with essential skills for future employment. Additionally, the new facility
         will offer before-care services for middle school students, providing a safe and
         enriching environment before the school day begins.
           “We are thrilled to see such an incredible turnout from the community,” said
         Keith “Fletch” Fletcher, President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin
         County. “The new Stuart Club is a testament to our commitment to providing
         exceptional resources and opportunities for our youth. We are excited to open our
         doors this fall and welcome members to a space designed to inspire and support
         their growth.”
           Membership applications for the new Stuart Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin
