Annual Gala, A Celestial Affair
The Palm Beach County Medical Society (PBCMS) and
Services held its annual gala, A Celestial Affair, on Saturday,
Dec. 2, 2023. More than 250 guests enjoyed an elegant
evening of dinner and dancing at PGA National Resort and
Spa. The black-tie event honored the 2023 PBCMS president,
Martha Rodriguez, M.D., and installed the incoming 2024
PBCMS president, Dawn Davanzo, M.D. Special guests
included Jason M. Goldman, M.D., president of the Florida Emergency Response Coalition (HERC), the Medical
Medical Association, State Representatives Katherine Reserve Corps (MRC), Community Health Worker Care
Waldron and Peggy Gosset-Seidman, as well as Palm Beach Coordination training through the PBCMSS Institute for
County Mayor, Maria Sachs. Entertainment was provided by Learning, the Physician Leadership Academy, Physician

For 2024 ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival
The ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival, presented by Tampa
General Hospital, is calling on the community to join
in creating a spectacular event by offering volunteer
opportunities for the upcoming 2024 festival. With over 600
volunteers needed to ensure the seamless execution of this
renowned arts festival, individuals aged 13 and older are
invited to register online at www.artigras.org.
“Volunteers are the backbone of ArtiGras. They play
a pivotal role in making sure everyone onsite from the
artists to the patrons and everyone in between are enjoying
their experience at ArtiGras,” remarked Noel Martinez,
