                                                        Chabad Celebrates Chanukah

                                                        with Country Club Members

                                                           Chabad  of  Palm  Beach  Gardens  was  out  making  a
                                                        difference in different parts of the community each night of
                                                        Chanukah. On the third night of Chanukah, Chabad of Palm
                                                        Beach Gardens hosted a Chanukah lighting at Ballenisles
                                                        Country Club with 100 members in attendance and on the
                                                        fourth night at Mirasol Country Club with over 400 attendees.
                                                           At each event, Rabbi Dovid Vigler spoke about the
                                                        modern relevance of this ancient Festival of Lights and
                                                        how it inspires us today to be better Jews, without fear
                                                        or intimidation.
                                                           Attendees were given Chanukah goodies as well as
                                                        Chanukah menorah gift sets and a Jewish community
                                                        calendar. The significance was most meaningful because
                                                        the Greeks in the Chanukah story forbade the Jews from
                                                        using a Jewish calendar. It served as a symbolic testament
                                                        to the eternal strength of our nation.             Local Happenings on page 13
