If you are a homeowner

value is limited from

did you know that even non-homestead properties benefit
from an assessment limitation?
In 2008, a constitutional amendment was passed stating
that the assessed value on all non-homestead property
shall not exceed ten (10 percent) from the prior year. That
means that the assessed value on every property that is
not receiving the benefit of agricultural classification,
conservation lands, or homestead exemption would now
be limited from increasing more than 10 percent annually.
