44th Annual Installation Gala mardi Gras Style
The Palm City Chamber of Commerce held our 44th
Annual Installation Gala Mardi Gras style on Saturday,
February 25 at Piper’s Landing Yacht and Country Club.
Our invocation and Pledge of Allegiance was delivered
by Florida Representative John Snyder. Aurora Jenkins
graced us with an amazing rendition of our National
Anthem. We were treated to fabulous appetizers including
shrimp and grits, a dinner that was spectacular, and King
Cake and beignets for dessert.
We then went on to present our awards to the following
business members and local businesses:
Ambassador of the Year: Brian Langworthy

Board Member of the Year: Don Pipes
with APP Jet Center
New Business of the Year: Ashley Capital Board Member of the Year – Missi Campbell, Christina
Business of the Year: Colorado Pawn & Franco, Don Pipes, and Meghan Shirey with the Boys and
Jewelry Girls Clubs of Martin County
Nonprofit of the Year: Project LIFT
Michele Dutro Radcliffe Award: Arati Hammond with the

Florida State Representative Toby Overdorf
remembered our friend, Michele Dutro Radcliffe, as
he honored the recipient of this treasured award for
philanthropy. The new Board of Directors was sworn in
by Florida Senator Gayle Harrell.
After the awards, our new President Don Pipes led Nonprofit of the Year – Missi Campbell, Christina Franco,
the guests on a true Mardi Gras style parade through Chief Executive Officer Bob Zaccheo, and Martin County
the dining room complete with handkerchiefs, beads, District 5 Commissioner Ed Ciampi
umbrellas, and a ton of fun!
