Luncheon Benefits Catch The
Wave Of Hope
By Jackie Holfelder
Catch the Wave of Hope (CWH), the nonprofit that
was founded in 2015 to fight child sex trafficking, was
the beneficiary of the Fourth Annual Fashion Show and
Luncheon held at the Yacht & Country Club of Stuart.
Event cochairs Terry Clemons and Kathy DeMont
hosted an engaging event that had 170 attendees oohing
and aahing at fabulous boutique shopping, a stellar fashion
show and a moving presentation by Sarah Henry, community
development director of Catch the Wave of Hope.
CWH was founded by Stuart’s own Lynne Barletta to
prevent the sex trafficking of children through awareness, Bob Massey Karen Paradiso and Sofia Mateus, So Unique Boutique
education, restoration and legislation.
Henry discussed warning signs that everyone should
watch for, the progress that is being made in the fight and
the reality that trafficking exists right here in Stuart.
Catch the Wave of Hope can provide a trained team to
come to your business, organization, church or synagogue
for an awareness event. To schedule a time or for any other
