“I’m having a great time playing. The guys are awesome,”
said Hengel, a Jupiter Farms resident. And he said he looks

The JSSA welcomes new players who want to enjoy the
benefits of being outdoors and playing a game they love.
There is no upper age limit but most players are in their 60s
and 70s as well as a number in their 80s. Gary Kunath, 63, a
Syracuse, N.Y. native who is in his third year of league play,
said he enjoys the camaraderie of other players and “the score
is really secondary to having fun.” This couple is the first in line each year.
Division championship games are scheduled March
22 and pickup games resume March 24 and continue
through the remainder of the year. The softball program
is a cooperative effort of the nonprofit Jupiter Senior
Softball Association and the Town of Jupiter. The JSSA
is accepting new registrations which can be made online
