Treasure Coast Symphony Our mission: To promote musical education and is the oldest volunteer orchestra in the Treasure Coast
experience for volunteer musicians of all ages for the area. Our premier performance was Saturday, Nov. 30,
Celebrating 35 Years Performing For The enrichment of our musicians and our community. 1984 at the Jai-Alai in Fort Pierce, Fla. Complementary
Treasure Coast The Treasure Coast Symphony Orchestra (TCSO) tickets were given out and the Treasure Coast Symphony
Orchestra performed to a completely full house.
Our founding Board of Directors knew after that
concert, they had creating something needed in their
community.
The TCSO performed at the Jai-Alai venue for our
first four seasons (1984 to 1988) until we became the
orchestra-in-residence at the Indian River Community
College (IRCC) for our fifth season. IRCC was our home
from November 1988 until December 2005. We were
excited to move to the newly renovated Sunrise Theatre
from February 2006 to April 2008.
We were on the move again to the newly built Fort
Pierce Central High School Concert Hall in December
2008 until April 2015. In December 2015, the Board of
Directors decided to move the TCSO a bit south to the
Jensen Beach High School Concert Hall and Auditorium.
Principal Laurie Vogel welcomed us with opened arms
and a heartfelt greeting on our first concert rehearsal.
