I was now a three-time cancer survivor and had a weighty
question. How could I repay my good fortune to others? I
decided that one way that I could do this was to drive for the
American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery. Through its PAYS HIGHER PRICES FOR FINE ART AND ANTIQUES
“Road to Recovery” program, the American Cancer Society
provides free rides to treatment for people with cancer.
With this program I would be able to repay my good fortune • Oil Paintings • Sterling Silver • Collectibles
to others. Because I had been through various treatments, I • Oriental Rugs • Objects of Art • Fine Crystal
could share my experiences with others who were new to the • Tapestries • Sculptures • Orientalia
process. When I was diagnosed in each of my three cases, as most
patients do, I had much stress and many concerns. Since I had • Fine Furniture • Bronzes • Tiffany Items
been through it, I might be able to ease their minds somewhat • Service Plates • Porcelain • Clocks
and give them hope.
