June Breakfast

Our June 26 Breakfast was the Legislative Update for
our local Florida representatives. The event was held at New
Hope Fellowship in Palm City and the delicious breakfast
was catered by Olympic Diner.
Thank you to Martin County Board of County
Commissioners District 5 Commissioner Ed Ciampi for
serving as our moderator for the morning. Florida Senator
Gayle Harrell was unable to attend but her team was there
with handouts highlighting the Senator’s accomplishments
in the 2024 session.
State Representatives Toby Overdorf and John Snyder
discussed the insurance crisis, affordable housing, taxes,
and water quality. They answered many of their constituents’
questions and visited with guests.
Martin County School Board Chair Jennifer Russell
stressed the importance of renewing the millage for our
Martin County school system.
