Applications are available for women in their third, fourth,
or graduate year of an accredited college or university if
they meet all criteria expected of the Panhellenic Alumnae
Chapter of Palm Beach County. First of all she must be a
resident of Palm Beach County, carry a full load of classes
and have a 3.0 GPA or above. In addition she will have to
fill in an application as found on the Panhellenic’s website
by June 1 showing her need for the monetary aid. In the past
four or five of these scholarships have been handed out if all
requirements are met. More information can be found on the
Panhellenic Facebook page, but the application is only found
on the website PanhellenicAlumnaePBC.com.
Panhellenic Alumnae of Palm Beach County had a Jeanne Hibbard, president,

Panhellenic Alumnae

Conference organizations.
The first of such groups
were called fraternities
instead of sororities and
the earliest ones began in
1851 and 1852 in the south.
Today there are chapters
of the 26 “sororities”
all across the United
States. Each nationally
supports their choice of a
philanthropy as a collegiate
and alumnae chapter
through fundraisers. Close to 100 women enjoyed lunch at the fundraiser.
