Ribbon Cutting

We had a fabulous time celebrating The Traveling
Youth at their 4th Annual Family Fun Exploration Day
on Saturday, March 23 at Memorial Park. The Traveling
Youth is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed
to transforming lives through immersive study abroad
experiences. Their mission is to empower young adults
aged 18-25 by broadening their horizons, fostering cultural
understanding, and cultivating the leaders of tomorrow.

Spring Fest

The Palm City Chamber of Commerce had their 5th
Annual Spring Fest featuring Cow Plop Bingo, Touch-
A-Truck and the Tom Jackson Band on Sunday, March
24 at the wonderful Rockin H Ranch in Palm City. We
are extremely grateful to our sponsors Mattamy Homes,
Early Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin, and
Okeechobee Counties, Legacy Environmental Solutions,
CBS12, and Rockin H Ranch.
Young and old enjoyed the fabulous display of vehicles,
food trucks, and vendors. There was even a special visit
from the Easter Bunny. The music of the Tom Jackson
Band flowed throughout the property, and we all waited for
Leeroy to “plop.” Leeroy was having a little stage fright,
so Loretta joined him for the final “plop.” The winner of
the $1,000 was Javi Melo from Trans Florida Transport,
and he very generously donated the funds back to the
Chamber. All Chamber proceeds go to promoting our local
businesses, FREE community events like Spring Fest,
Holiday Village, Dish with the Commish, and Community
Night Schools, as well as a scholarship to a local student
each year.
We were thrilled with the turnout and hope to see you
