Groundbreaking Trip to Israel Unites
Jewish, Non-Jewish Community Leaders
With antisemitism surging and with more than 100
hostages still captive by Hamas as the war in Israel rages on
(at the time of the Jewish Voice deadline), Jewish Federation
of Palm Beach County recently brought together some
of Palm Beach County’s most extraordinary non-Jewish
leaders for a first-of-its-kind trip to Israel to experience the
complexities of the country and the challenges facing Jewish
people around the world and in the Palm Beaches.
Palm Beach County leaders who participated included
Ava Parker, president of Palm Beach State College; Kimberly
Coombs, planner of Holocaust studies in our county’s
school district; Wendy Satory Link, Palm Beach County
supervisor of elections; Danita DeHaney, CEO of Community
Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin counties; Patrick
