Grants Over $250K For Children’s Health Care
The Golden Cub Ambassadors Club raised more than $250,000 for children’s health
care in 2023. On Tuesday, Dec. 5, club members gathered for an annual holiday reception
at The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Fla., to honor and bestow grants to its charitable partners.
Grant recipients included Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Nicklaus Children’s Palm
Beach Gardens Outpatient Center, Mia’s Miracles, HaitiChildren, Oliver Patch Project,
Clinics Can Help – Cribs for Kids, MiracleFeet, and Pediatrics at Jupiter Medical
Center.
The granddaughter of Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, Christie Strunk, and her husband
Todger, have cochaired Golden Cub Ambassadors Club to further the legacy of the
Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. In just its second year, the club has more
than doubled its fundraising efforts from 2022.

At 44th Annual JMCF Charity Golf Classic
The Multi-Day, Multi-Location Event Raised
Funds For New Patient Care Tower
Charity was in full swing on Monday, Nov. 13,
when golfers at two different esteemed golf clubs
raised their clubs to support the Jupiter Medical
Center Foundation’s (JMCF) 44th Annual Charity Golf
Classic presented by Palm Beach Kennel Club and the
Rooney Family. The multi-day, multi-location event
started the Saturday before with an “Evening on the
Range with Brad Faxon and Tom Fazio,” the event’s
chairman and honorary chairman, respectively. The fun
pretournament celebration was hosted at Old Marsh

American Humane, the country’s first national humane organization, hosted a sold-out
crowd for its 13th annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards on Nov. 10 at The Breakers
Palm Beach. The event was filmed by MRB Productions and produced by executive
producers Matt Brady and Dr. Robin Ganzert to be televised on the fyi, network at 8 p.m.
on Thanksgiving Day and A&E at 1 p.m. on Nov. 26.
