         A little rain didn’t stop Temple Judea from celebrating Sukkot      A big yashar koach to the fifth and sixth graders

                                                                                                           Happy Thanksgiving

                                                                                                                              Two Senior Dogs Join the Pack
                                                                                                                                Gianni, a 13-year-old terrier mix,
                                                                                                                              and Bella, a 14-year-old pomeranian,
                                                                                                                              recently joined The Pet Cottage. When
                                                                                                                              their mom, Maria, passed away from
                                                                                                                              cancer at the end of the summer, her
                                                                                                                              two beloved senior dogs needed new
                                                                                                           homes. Maria’s step-daughter Lenore was unable to take them
                                                                                                           herself and knew that if she brought them to a shelter, they would
                                                                                                           likely be euthanized because of their age and medical issues.
                                                                                                              Lenore wrote: “I am so thankful for Wendy and The Pet
                                                                                                           Cottage! They have saved my step-mom’s ‘kids’ and have helped
                                                                                                           them and me through a very difficult process. Wendy is one
                                                                                                           of the most kind, compassionate people I know. She is taking
                                                                                                           phenomenal care of Bella and Gianni. She reaches out to me to
                                                                                                           keep me updated and posts daily on Instagram and Facebook.
                                                                                                           By doing this she has kept me and my step-mom’s loved ones
                                                                                                           connected to my step-mom through seeing Bella and Gianni.
                                                                                                           This is a unique and extremely special and needed organization.
