Palm Beach Symphony Season Culminates
In Delightful Après Concert Dinner
Event Included The Award Of The Randolph A. Frank Prize For The Performing Arts
After being treated to a
spectacular season finale
at the Kravis Center, Palm
Beach Symphony members
gave the season a memorable
send-off with a celebratory
après concert dinner in the
Cohen Pavilion.
The evening’s guest artist,
acclaimed piano virtuoso
Maria João Pires, attended
the dinner at which Maestro
Gerard Schwarz spoke to
recognize the musicians, Marietta Muiña McNulty,
thank the members and offer Adolfo Zaralegui, James Father John Mericantante Gary and Linda Lachman Mara and Arthur Benjamin Carol and Tom Bruce
a sneak peek at the upcoming Borynack
season. Principal Trombone
and Latin Grammy winner Domingo Pagliuca received
hearty congratulations from those present for his solo
performance earlier in the evening in the Florida premiere
of the orchestral version of Adolphus Hailstork’s Monuments
for solo trombone and string orchestra.
