Ninth Annual Live Like Jake 5K Raises Over $100,000 For
Drowning Prevention During National Water Safety Month
Over 1,100 runners helped The Live Like Jake Foundation,
a local nonprofit created in memory of Jake Roarke Morrison,
raise over $100,000 during the Ninth Annual Live Like Jake
5K on April 29 in downtown Abacoa.
The huge crowd of participants, which included families
who have lost a child from drowning, Infant Self Rescue
(ISR) instructors, school groups and sponsors were excited
to return once more to the downtown Abacoa bandshell in
support of Palm Beach County’s 2023-voted No. 1 nonprofit.
Runners and their families helped the local nonprofit raise
funds that will go directly to supporting children and their

The 12th Annual Bachelor Auction for Blood Cancer successful nights ever!
