12th Annual Purse Party from page 1

We are super excited to announce that this year’s event
grossed over $72,000, a true compliment to the history and
following of the event. Proceeds from this event will fund
the museum’s educational community outreach programs and
scholarship fund and new STEM educational programming
for middle school children. This program allows local
teachers to enhance their current curriculum using a hands-
on approach to learning, free! The traveling mobile museum
visits classrooms throughout the Treasure Coast, Indian
River, St. Lucie, Martin, Okeechobee and Palm Beach
counties. The Marti Huizenga Scholarship program allows Jennifer Martin, Carol Berardi and Zuzel
access to camp enrollment to low income and at-risk youth. Buttafuoco
