and various television productions. Tovah’s presentation
included selections from Lilyville – Mother Daughter and
Other Roles I’ve Played, her 2021 memoir that tells the
story of a mother and daughter whose narrative reflects
American cultural changes and the world’s shifting
expectations of women. In Lilyville, Tovah shares heartfelt
stories about courageous women and their stories of
resilience while dealing with cancer. Each guest received
a copy of Lilyville to take home.
During the luncheon, a
special tribute was given
to honoree Dr. Robert C.
Knapp, a true pioneer in
ovarian cancer research
and coinventor of CA Heather Henry and Judy Patricia O’Connell and Dr. Robert Wenham and Dr. Dr. Robert Knapp and Dr.

Knapp recently celebrated his 96th birthday and continued
the celebration with this much-deserved honor that he
shared with family and friends in attendance, along
with Florida medical students that received his medical
scholarships.
