Sold-Out Clinics Can Help Luncheon Raises

Thousands To Bring Vitaly Needed Cribs To Parents,

Helps Reach Year’s Goal Of 1,000 Donated Cribs

Nestled in the heart of Palm Beach, a
sold-out event unfolded to benefit families
in the community with a common goal
in mind: ensuring newborns and infants
have a safe place to dream at night. The
event was best described as dreamy at
The Colony Hotel where distinguished
actress and author Tina Sloan shared
inspirational stories about her life among
the whimsical decor that made attendees
feel as if they were floating through a
peaceful child’s nursery.
With a mission to safely distribute
more than 1,000 cribs for newborns
and infants this year, Clinics Can
Help (CCH) hosted the first of its Angela Reynolds, Juliette Emily Pantelides and Bethany
kind luncheon to directly benefit their Louis Sharp Ilan Kaufer, Dr. Tamara Mays, Karen Holloway, Chelsea Reed, Gary Lesser
C.R.I.B.S. Project (Cribs R for Infant
Baby Safety). Sharing a room, not a bed, has been reported
by the American Academy of Pediatricians to decrease the
chance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) by 50
percent, but not everyone has access to this vital resource
for newborns, as noted by CCH CEO Owen O’Neill.
“We are so grateful for everyone who came out to support
such an important cause today,” O’Neill remarked. “Cribs
are a basic necessity that unfortunately many parents lack
proper access to. Together, we are able to raise funds and
awareness for this need and I’m excited to report that we’re
on track to exceed our annual 1,000 crib goal.”
