The lecture focused on the shared threat
that all Jews face from antisemitism on all
levels of the U.S. government, regardless
of political affiliations of belief. Black
kept his comments bipartisan, focusing on
the scourge of antisemitism instead of on
political lobbying.
Rabbi Vigler noted that the event was
being held in a sanctuary, where we emphasize
all that unites us and overlook all that divides
us. Attendees left with a renewed sense of
unity and strength in the face of the threats
we face from those who wish to harm us.
