Did You Know?

Lake Catherine was named after John D. MacArthur’s
wife, Catherine T. MacArthur. Below is late 1980s
aerial view of the area surrounding the entrance
to Palm Beach Gardens – MacArthur Boulevard
(formerly Garden Boulevard).

Veterans Plaza, located at Palm Beach Gardens
City Hall, was dedicated on Nov. 11, 2007 to
honor all who serve our great nation. Council
members at that time were Mayor Joseph Russo,
Vice Mayor David Levy, Council members Eric
Jablin, Hal Valeche, and Jody Barnett.
