I am excited to share news of a major donation to the City
of Boca Raton. The Boca Raton Resort and Club gifted our
city with the recreational facility at the Boca Raton Country
Club. This gift includes an 18-hole championship golf course,
along with tennis, swimming and club/meeting rooms. The
city will assume operations October 2021. During the interim
we are assessing the potential of the property and how it
aligns with the needs of the community. At the same time,
we are looking forward to working with the Beach and Parks
District on a recreational site at Ocean Breeze in Boca Teeca.
It offers great potential. The district has already put out a
“request for ideas.” Pickleball, walking paths, an executive
course are a few ideas I have heard bandied about. Over 200
acres offers amazing opportunity.

The Historic Museum and Visitor Center is now under

The Brightline will start construction in the near future.
This will enable locals to get to Miami, West Palm Beach or
