For Children Battling Life Threatening Illnesses
If you were anywhere along the intracoastal waterways in
North County on Feb. 18 around 5:45 p.m. you most likely
heard the roar of engines and witnessed the awe inspiring sight
of three Air Force Warbirds heading north, and wondered just
what was happening.
Chasin A Dream Foundation was hosting their annual We
Walk As Lions gala benefiting local children battling cancer,
cystic fibrosis, heart disease and other life threatening illnesses
and disabilities at the Wyndham Grand, Harbourside Place.
The trio of Warbirds put on a magnificent show for the guests
(and anyone looking to the skies) after a moving rendition of our
national anthem sung by one of the Chasin A Dream warriors,
Mikayla Beatty.
