Brightline Train Station Opening in December to Mark

A New Era in Benefits for Boca Families, Businesses

As of the editorial deadline for this issue of Boca Club News, the official December
date of the Brightline train station opening in Boca had not been set, but one thing is
certain: This event will represent one of the most important accomplishments for this city
in decades—a testament to the dedication and determination of Mayor Scott Singer and all
members of the City Council, one that will accrue to the benefit of both the area’s families
      and businesses.
The Brightline network is reimagining train travel through the lens of the modern traveler
to offer an experience unlike any other. Through a hospitality-driven approach, Brightline
is connecting cities with distances too short to fly and too far to drive conveniently, while
maintaining the allure of travel and exploration. The modern, intercity passenger rail
already serves Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach with plans to connect South
      Florida to Orlando by 2023.
This year, Brightline is opening two new stations. The one in Boca will be located
across from Mizner Park, located at 101 NW 4th Street on a 1.8-acre site adjacent to the
downtown library. The station will feature 22,000 square feet of space, which will include
its signature autonomous MRKT and SMART and PREMIUM lounges. Inside the station,
travelers will be immediately greeted by the platform and access level boarding onto the
train. A 455-space parking garage will service Brightline’s Boca station and visitors to the The Brightline station in Boca that will open in December.
